Rich Schuller launched his own company, Schuller Aerospace Services International, Ltd., an international aviation management advisory and consulting business with headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona in January 1999. Since then the company has successfully performed projects supporting aviation litigation, business development with large and small enterprises, recruited and placed executives, purchased/and sold turbine engines. Rich is a seasoned veteran of the aviation industry with over five decades of diversified operational experience in the aviation industry. His career spans numerous responsible management positions in Business Development, Service Sales, Customer & Product Support, Aircraft Sales & Marketing, Aircraft Operations and Maintenance-Modification-Completions with OEM’s, Service Providers and Aircraft Sales Distributors. He started his career as a FAA, A&P mechanic. He has traveled extensively worldwide during his career providing technical services on large & small airframes and engines, conducting business meetings, making presentations, promoting company products, conducting aircraft accident investigation, troubleshooting technical & business issues and developing a network of influential contacts throughout the global aviation community. As the Director of Business Development with Standard Aero Alliance, Inc., Maryville (Knoxville), Tennessee and as one of the original “Founders/Owners” and Executive Vice President, Business Development with Alliance Engines, LLC. He was instrumental in building a new state-of-the-art start-up company into a $50 million enterprise in three (3) years, overhauling and repairing aircraft gas turbine engines. As Executive Vice President Alliance Engines he was tasked by the CEO to locate a strategic partner or promote the sale of the company. This was accomplished with Standard Aero (Winnipeg) & BTR (London, England in 1997).

During phenomenal growth in the Business Jet market in 1978 Rich was recruited to join AiResearch Manufacturing Company of Arizona (Signal Companies) as a Factory Regional Manager at the AiResearch Aviation Facility in Springfield, Illinois to resolve TPE331/TFE731 business/technical issues. In 1980 he was promoted and relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to become Manager, Factory Repair & Overhaul with $80 + million in revenues. In 1982 he was promoted to Manager, MSP Administration where he developed the guaranteed hourly cost programs into an autonomous department in Business Operations with revenues in excess of $60 million. In 1984 he became Manager, Independent Facility Administration with sales in excess of $140 million annually. Rich provided the leadership for the globalization of what has become the Honeywell (AlliedSignal) Worldwide Authorized Service Center Network. These licensed facilities in over 30 countries bring global support and industry recognition to the worldwide independent service network that administer the various business plans offered to operators of company products throughout the global market place.

Rich developed his versatile and diversified base of knowledge and proficiency in aviation with Beckett Aviation & Youngstown Airways (the Worlds Largest Executive Fleet Operator at the time who introduced the first French built Business Jet in the USA), Wright Airlines a large Regional Airline Operation, Cleveland, Ohio, Israel Aircraft Industries, (an aircraft manufacturer), Tel Aviv, Israel, Atlantic Aviation (a business aircraft distributor and support center), Wilmington, Delaware, AiResearch Manufacturing Company, Garrett Turbine Engine Company, AlliedSignal Aerospace, Alliance Engines and Standard Aero prior to launching his own business. Rich is a graduate and Distinguished Alumnus of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics with a degree in Aerospace Technology and holds a US, FAA A&P Technician rating (#1405470). He serves on the board of directors for the Phoenix Air National Guard Patriots Association, and is a member of APA, AOPA, EAA, AZAA, NAA, NBAA, and Past President of AZBAA where he served as Founder and inaugural President and is prominently recognized in the Business Aviation industry. In 2008, Rich became a Founder in Sextant Advisory, LLC Scottsdale, Arizona in 2008 to engage larger Business Aviation projects. The FAA has recognized Rich for the 2009 FAA Charles Taylor award in Arizona.
